 Rita's Retreat

Rita's Retreat has a master bedroom with queensize bed,  a double bed in the second bedroom, and a queensize sleeper sofa in the living room.  There are two full bathrooms with tub and shower in each.  Includes a porch with gas grill. This unit contains a laundry room with washer and dryer.  There is also a double carport next to the unit.  A walk up ramp is attached to the one end of the porch for the ease of people who have a difficult time with steps. 

 Both units are in quiet settings surrounded by trees and privacy.  There is plenty of room for parking boats and other water toys.

A public boat launch ramp and courtesy dock is located less than a mile from either cottage.  This ramp is now open after being closed for 18 months.  It now has improved lighting more parking spaces and a public restroom. 

The lake cannot be seen from the cottages but is accessable 300 yards beyond the property.  A path through Corp of Engineers property is available that goes to a secluded cove. Pictures of the path and the cove can be seen to the right.

An outdoor fireplace and firewood are available for bonfires.  Tables and chairs are available near the fireplace.

A private stocked pond is also available for fishing and a fish cleaning station is located next to the pond.

 Robert's Roost

 Robert's Roost is a favorite of hunters and fishermen.  This unit can accommodate 4 large sportsmen and has a larger kitchen and living area than Rita's Retreat.  The kitchen has seating for six.   The master bedroom has a queen size bed and the master bath has a walk in shower.  The second bedroom has two twin beds.  The living room contains a sofa with 2 recliners and an additional 2 platform rocking chairs.  Washer and dryer are available in an outside building. The large porch contains a gas grill and a large table and six chairs so meals may be enjoyed on the porch as well as in the kitchen
